temperature gauge

4runner runs :grinyes: but i got weird temperature readings, after 15 minutes of driving is half way thru, (no highway driving yet)im going camping 600km away tomorrow, hopefully she'll run just fine, just for records, new head gasket, new coolant, new thermostat, new rad, any suggestions?

I just got back from up north, 600km each way, temperature gauge goes slightly over the lowest point, but does not reach quarter of temperature gauge; before it used to reach half way within 10 minutes of driving, any ideas?

Possibly a stuck open thermostat.

hmm ... maybe i should tip 4runner to its side and then try to loose all the bubbles from cooling system

Its probably the thermostat. Your mileage was probably worse than normal on the trip due to the engine running to cold.
