was driving my car and out of nowhere it shuts off
i pushed it to a subway parkinglot
check my plugs checked my distibutor, had a mechanic who worked at a scooter shop look at it
he said there was no spark what so ever and also something about a relay or a coil being bad
i have cleaned the battery post as it had some curosion but that was not the cause either
please help
im 17 and this is my only car and i have a job and school

Since it died suddenly rather than just not starting, I doubt it's the relay. If you follow the middle wire on the distributer back to the firewall it connects to your ignition coil. This is what the guy was talking about. Check the wires going to the coil to make sure none have come loose. It's most likely your problem. You may have bad plug wires, in particular the one from your coil to the distributer.
