I have a squeeling noise coming from the valve cover of my 1995 stock g20 it only happens at under 1,000 rpm and sounds like belts would if they were slipping, however the sound seems to be comming from around the number 3 spark plug position does any one have any ideas as it gets louder wou might think it sounds like metal vbration but give it the slightest amount of gas and the sound goes away instantly.
Any Ideas?:( Thank You ,also does any one know what the timing specs for the ignition are. the car does not seem to have any low end pickup. Last but not least where can I buy a repair manual for this car.

What year is the car? If it's a 1992 I have a spare FSM. I don't know much about the squealing.

It is a 95. the squeeling sound was from plugged oilers and the rocker train squeeling from lack of oil. Not sure how much damage was done but that is what happens when you don't take care of your car. Any idea on the slow responsivness.

Do you have an auto? A frequent complaint about the G20 is that it has a relatively low power-to-weight ratio. Only 140 hp, and 3000 lbs of car. It might just be that you're used to a faster car. However, if it has just recently become sluggish, than I hope someone else replies to this thread because I don't know much of the mechanics stuff yet. I'm working on learning.
