Die Hard...er...again

Whats with all these old guys (relatively) coming back to do movies? Bruce Willis has apparently signed on to do another Die Hard movie (Live Free or Die Hard). This is the latest in a string of 50+ and even 60+ actors doing action movies. Sly Stallone is doing Rocky 6 and harrison Ford is doing another Indiana Jones movie.
I'm not one to ever tell someone they're too old to do anything, but its just kinda lame to watch a 50 year old John McClane shout Yippie Kiy-Yay Mother****er. These guys were all great in their respective roles, but that was all at least 10 years ago. Die Hard 3: With A Vengance came out in 1995 starring a sprightly 40 year old John McClane. Rocky V was 1990 with an aging, but athletic 44 year old Stallone, and The LAst Crusade premiered in 1989 with a 46 year old Harison Ford.
So I guess my real beef is with the fact that these movies are coming out with sequels SO long after the last installment. What ever happened to stopping at a trilogy? (excluding Rocky which should have stopped at 3) Now movies that should never have hit part 2 are making three parts (I'm looking at you Scary Movie)
I guess if they're going to try and squeak out some more dollars from a series, then its best to do it with the original actors if possible, but let it die...hard

Don't get me wrong, I liked the previous movies. I own the Die Hard Trilogy boxed set. Rocky 1 and 2 were the shit. 3 was good. 4 and 5 were decent enough. Indiana Jones was good action fare, but not on my list of favorites.
I forgot to include Arnold with Terminator 3 a couple years ago when he was 51 I believe. Or is he 51 now? Either way, T2 was way back in 92. i also own the T2 metallic special edition btw :bigthumb:

They should stop Rocky 6. Rocky 5 was a steaming shit pile. The 3rd one was the best but the 4th one isn't bad for a rainy Saturday kind of movie.
I'd love to see a new Die Hard as all of them are good. Although the first 2 were better than the 3rd but the 3rd one is still awesome.
As for Indianna Jones, I don't know if they can top the 3rd. If they bring back Sean Connery it might.
Speaking of Connery though he goes along with the subject. The Rock was a fucking bad ass movie and how old was he? In his 80's?

KALI MA!! lol, indiana jones was awsome, all of them. I don't care if Ford is graying, i'd still go watch it, he's hilarious. As for rocky 6, i think it will suck... a lot. shoulda done another Rambo what with the Afghanistan conflict and all. and i don't know what to think about die hard. maybe i'll rent it one of these days, i don't think i'll spend my 10 bux on it, though.

 True true. I own The Rock as well. But its not like it was an installment in a series, so it was okay for ohn Mason to be 1,000 years old. Plus if he was young, it would kinda need a new plot :p
So I'm not saying old guys shouldn't act, but they shouldn't resurrect movies from last decade. Movie series should be able to be locked like threads on AF
