Hi _835_

I've built that kit (there is a thread a little way back) and ther are some pictures for the gallery when Jay updates them. Which P/E set do you have, is it the Studio 27 one. A couple of tips, the instructions tell you to put the rear number plate on the bumper, serves me right for not checking, but it actually goes in the recess on the rear bootlid, and the other tip, I had major problems fitting the window moulding (see thread), it'll be interesting to see if you have the same problem.

Good Luck

Steve

in fact, as this kit is a gift, i have decided to buy extra part:

- S27 Pe part.
- Renaissance transkit.
- Renaissance decal.

i saw your pics steve, and i study them carefuly, very very nice work.
Of course i will send progress report on AF, and i may ask and tell you you some advice in case of problem. (is it possible to have a pics of the bad under detail of the car, i want to see how it looks like when paint ?)

Hi guys,

a new update of the xsara work can be seen at
_My xsara Folder Here (http://fr.photos.yahoo.com/bc/sebastien_aucouturier/lst?.dir=/xsara+wrc+2001/20_08_02&.view=t)

now the body is prime and sand a last time, body inside has got a TS17 coat...
and work start on interior : Removing, Filling ..Sanding

- remove all cable mold in plastic.
- remove the 'VERY BIG' extinguisher behind pilot seat
- remove the strange Co-pilot footrest
- lower seats support.

That the last update for the 2 weeks coming..this is time for holiday (at the end of the week) far from computers and models...

Steve : you re right, i got the same trouble with windows fitting :-( ... what clear sheet size do you use for ?

Things look like they are progressing well. As far as a picture of the underside of the car goes I could take a picture but I painted it plain silver and it looks very boring indeed, but the underside doesn't really get looked at too often!! The clear sheet I used for the side windows was the thinnest I could get (about 10 thousands of an inch, not sure in mm, probably about 1/4 of a mm) so that it bends easily from top to bottom.
