First post in a while. Figured I would start a thread to get back in the hang of things. Here goes:

What are the cool/interesting/impressive things you've done? Here is my list:

I've met President Jimmy Carter and shaken hands with him.
I've been on Air Force One.
I've been to England, Scotland and Mexico (okay, not THAT impressive).
I've seen President Bill Clinton speak in New Orleans (1996 campaign).
I've eaten lunch with the Mayor of Birmingham, AL (a city of 1 million people).

There's more I know. But you guys post yours!

I've run into Robin Williams. (yes actually smacked into him)

Besides that, I have no interesting celebrity stuff, but:

I can solve Rubik's Cubes blind. (if they have been prepared with shapes instead of colors)

I can clasp my hands behind my back, and flip them over my head without unclasping them. Handy if I have handcuffs on.

I've had a few one-on-one drum lessons with Carter Beaufard (Dave Matthews Band)
Spent three weeks with P.O.D (about a year before Fundamental Elements of SouthTown hit it big)
Met and played (drums, you pervs) with Tony Medieros several times.
Won several state competitions in drumming and percussive arts
released three full length, professionally produced CD's before I was old enough to smoke and another one after.
I started a food fight with P-Nut and Sa of 311 in Seattle. THAT was a blast.

Well it's nothing to write home about, but when Alex used to work for a few different car audio companies, I got to see what goes on behind the scenes and hang out with some big names in car audio, including one of the founding fathers of the hobby. This was also my first big break as far as doing some ads to get my porfolio for my graphic design career going. I did a few ads for one of the companies Alex worked for. That's about it as far as the not so normal cool stuff goes.

I married Spec2 :) :) :) :)

Other than that, the major things are probably (in no particular order)

Playing guitar now for half my life
Stuff around medicine and psychiatry: graduating in the first place, and now progressing through psychiatry training (very well, if I can believe my supervisors :D :D  ), and making a difference in some lives along the way :D
Achieving a Shodan in Chidokan Karate :) Time to get back into some form of martial arts, I think.
Seeing Star Wars ep. 4 so many times I can't count them any more :geek: :geek: :geek:
Re-wiring all my electric guitars to make them do what I want.
Actually re-shaping and improving the look of one of my guitars.
Playing in a band on stage would have to be the best thing about playing guitar: very very cool :D  :D  :D  :D  :D
