last night i went and saw Miami Vice. they showed a preview for this movie, 9/11. honestly, i don't know whether or not it's too soon to make ANOTHER movie about the events, even though this one caters to the events that happened to NY vs. United 93 which was about the plane that went down in PA. it looks like a really good movie, and from what i've read, it is supposed to be a movie to show the events that happened. there is no hero story building or anything like. even though i think we all agree the rescue workers were all heroes

I'm not going to watch it. What has happened as happened, and i don't need to see a hollywood interpretation of it. It's not "too early", the movie just shouldn't have even been made, imo. it seems wrong, making a profit to provide a big screen version of terrorism and such a massive human loss.

Is this different from that "World Trade Center" movie? That one comes out pretty soon I think

This may be true, but its been happening for a long time movies like Pearl Harbor, Hotel Rwanda, Schindler's List, Thin Red Line, Enemy At The Gates, Godzilla...

its actually a little scary. i recently watched this video with a guy calling from the towers. He called 911 and he was talking directly to the firefighters coming to get them. well, he transfered back to the op (and this going on while a camera view of the towers from like New Jersey is filming it) and suddenly you see the towers start to fall and the guy and everyone in the back ground is screaming and then it goes dead. meanwhile, on the vid, there's an arrow pointing to the location of this guy, on like the 151st floor or something. freaked me out....ill see if i can find the site again.
EDIT: http://www.dumpalink.com/media/1153472861/Very_Chilling_911_Call
the arrow doesnt point to the floor, but still, it should give you chills. i cant stand to listen to it again though.

Whats with the constant loop of the video. When its on that far shot, it just loops the same three seconds of footage over and over. You can tell by looking at the boat in the water to the right. Then when it cuts to the close shot, it seems to be continuous

I saw this also on Ebaums world a while back and the loop in the video is annoying I agree but it probably does that cause it would be hard to find a vid long enough for that call.
