Hi all,
I submitted earlier in the week a problem with my 325 dieing on me after a long journey. I.e. when the engine gets warmed up after a long drive, and I turn the engine off, the car wont start until the engine cooled down. i.e. If I wait 10 min's the car wont start, if I wait 20 mins it will start.
The bizzare thing is Ive narrowed it down to the Alarm/Immobiliser device. Since disconnecting this device, the car will start fine after a long journey and I dont have to wait for the engine to cool down.
The model is: BMW 325i 24Valve, 6 Cylinder , 1993.
We know the fault is with the alarm/immobiliser module.
Does anybody know of a wiring diagram for this device? My theory is to disable the Immobiliser side, and keep the alarm side working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
