2003 jetta with code p0778

i got a 2003 jetta with code: p0778 transmission pressure control solenoid B. when i shift gears to either one of the gears it jerks real hard i check the transmission fluid and it was ok what could be the problem? anybody this problem before??

ok WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! is going on with these VW auto transmitions i have the same problem and its a 97' it take for ever to realise that it has to switch gears.
1)Is this a normal factory thig?
2)Will this mess up my tansmition on the long run?
3)How is it easier to check my transmition oil so i dont have to takeit to get it check every time?

Please help.
