...is it a learned behaviour,or a natural instinct?do we all possess the same capacity in untapped form,or are some of us born to just accept things as they happen?

I can motivate myself easily! If I am determine to do something, it'll be done fast and the best way it can be!

I always tell other students they should do there work before the deadline because they get bad grades on it! They say I wait, but I reply with" Yeah, but I know how to do it right!" :D

Do you have motivational problems Mr. T? You seem to motivate yourself enough to post! :p

Taz- :hehehe:

.....and sometimes that's as far as my motivation stretches.....I have been known to sit in this chair for 48 hours straight, lacking the motivation to cart myself off to bed...:( .

Motivation is just a rationalization concept. There is no true motivation, sentient beings always do what they want to do.

Very provocative, Mr. T. I am going to go with motivation being a learned behavior as my theory. It may be influenced genetically, but I think it mostly ties into your surroundings, the example set forth by your parents, etc.
