Need help removing dash

Im in the process of repainting my interior. I've done the center console and the two panels beneath the dash on either side of the car. Im trying to get the dashboard off now but i cant figure out a couple of things...
In the book for my car it says to remove the driver's knee bolster but i cant figure out what that is. I think it may be the sheet of metal running under the steering column but i dont think it connects to the dashboard in anyway.
The other part it said was to disconnect the right ground cable. Again im not sure where this is or what it looks like.
Can someone please help me get my dashboard of and/or tell me what these things are?
