Racing....let me hear your stories

So, im on dale mabry last night(very busy main highway/street) and its kinda late maybe around 1130 or so and im stopped at a light. im talking to my buddy in the passenger seat and up pulls a brand new evo MR with a cat back and im pretty sure nothing else. he pokes his head out of his window and looks my car over like its nothing(mind you the only cosmetic items i have done to my dsm are rims and window tint. so i roll my window down to talk to him and hes bragging about how he just just this turbo upgrade done and how hes running mid to low 11's. i hear this and it peaks my interest. he asks me what ive got done to my engine and i say the usual..."oh just an intake, exhaust, boost controller and turbo timer" he says " you wanna race?" so i say yea and we head out to a road with a lot less traffic. we we get lined up and i tell him i need to raise my boost(mind you i only run like 16lbs while daily driving), so i raise it up to 25 lbs and tell him im ready to go.....both of our passengers get out to start us off. he drops his hands and we launch, we're even in 1st....i throw it into 2nd and pace him to make him think hes beating a "fairly modded dsm" in his words.....then he looks at me and smiles, so i throw it into 3rd gear and punch it and end up beating him by 5 or 6 lengths easily....we go back and pick up our friends and hes amazed that he lost....he said youve got to have more done to your engine than just those mods, let me have a look and i tell him that if he had beat me, he couldve seen my engine.....so i sent him home with his tail between his legs.....all in all it was a good night......so with that i figured id share some of my kills with you guys and hope to hear back from you guys about some of your races and kills and who youve lost to as well......toodles

Sweetness. I halfways raced one car in my DSM the 3 hours it was running good and one when it was on stock boost and 3 cylinders. I was running my buddy in his B16A2 (1.6 DOHC Vtec) Del Sol when I was on 3 cylinders. We just did a 2nd and half of 3rd gear pull and I stayed with him until I it 4500 and it started to jerk, then he quit pulling on me when I was in the lower RPMS of 3rd. My bumper was at his front wheel. Finally on all 4 cylinders and 15 pounds I did a 2nd gear pull with my buddy Matt in his friend Aarons car. Matt was thinking about buying it so he was test driving it. Its a gutted civic hatch with a D16 (1.6 SOHC Vtec) running like 15.2's at a really shitty track. Well, I dont know what gear he was in, but I put er in 2nd and I just made it to redline. Got him by like a full car length and half in a one gear pull. I was quite excited. Other than that I raced a 5.0 fox body in the Cavy, lost by less than a length (two big fat dudes, no mods, and wheel spin) and I got waxed by my buddy's V6 Mazda 6 in the Cavy.
