99 Jetta headlight removal

Friend of mine has a 99 jetta vr6 late model and the bulb melted the back of the headlamp so we need to replace it but cant figure out how to get the front grill off without braking anything, if anyone knows how to do this please let me know, thanks to whoever helps...

mine is a 99 but the earlier body style, on mine there are i believe 4 screws on the top of the radiator support all philips head, and two clips one under each headlight that you have to release with a flat head screw driver...
