Positionlights problem

Hey, as you can see im a new member ...and of course did i brought some problems with me :)

soo i got a Renault Laguna RXE 2.0 -95 and my problem is that

when the ignition is off my positionlights works fine, but when the ignition is on, they dont work .. btw .. i dont know if they are called positionslight, mayb even sidelights :P .. well the positionslights purpose are so make you visible during the night, the backlights should be on but they arent .. soo i hope you understand what i mean .. and i hope someone knows what my problem is ...
