air compressor 93 legacy

my air works really good for an old car . I recently put a 12 oz shot of coolant ,oil and leak guard in it . when my compressor comes on my belt starts flaping as if it was really strained by the compressor the belt feels tight . So is this a sign that my compressore needs more oil or is it gonna die or, is it in need of a new belt.
