99 3000 gt or 96 sr eclipse

i've been looking on ebay for a eclipse and a 3000 gt which should i get

3000gt... those things are mad fast. high13 second car. and awd... cant lose

LMAO I would chose.... neither. Chances are the 3000gt isnt a vr-4 and I dont care to much for 2g eclipse's so yeah I wouldnt get either one.

Well, as Brad said, I doubt it's a VR4, which is the only one I would buy. Take into consideration the mileage of both vehicles, the price, and what you plan on doing with the car, or what you want from the car if you plan on keeping it stock. If you are plannin on modding the motor I would go for the Eclipse because it would be much cheaper to make faster, and is also lighter than the 3000. Although, if you are looking for a decent RWD car that you wish to mod obviously go for the GT. It's all up to you, and what you want to do with it.

In that case I would go with the vr-4. Dont take my earlyer post the wrong way I've drove a 3000gt SL (non turbo, front wheel drive) a few times and they are nice cars and seem to handle very well, just not something I would get. I think you should base it on what rodbls said mileage,what you plan to do with the car, etc... Just dont get a supra tt because then I would have to hate on you.

Theres nothing wrong with supra's!!! What I meant by that was dont get a supra tt because I would be jealous. I would trade my 00 GT with 45k on it for a 94 supra tt with a 150k on it any day of the week. What year did they stop making 3000GT?

I would give my left nut for a MKIV Supra TT...both nuts if it were a T-top...and the whole package if it were already at over 800hp because you dont need balls of your own when you drive a car like that.

Damn! You must really like Supras! :D They are great cars, but I definately wouldn't give any of my nuts (nor any other body part) to own one. :screwy: Now, if we were talking about a Pagani Zonda that would be a different story... ;)

Yes I really love Supras...all toyotas for that matter (except the echo, tercel, and a few other older ones). Would I REALLY give my junk for the car...probably not, but I will say that If I had all of Bill Gate's money, the first car I would buy would be a Supra. I would probably have like 3 or 4 of them...one for every use.

3kgt, the RS eclipses/"sr" as you put it are worthless even with a turbo. not hating on anyone's personal preference, but honestly i wouldn't waste the money. GET THE VR4 unless you are 16, in which case get a civic and learn how to drive fast first.
