Well you might try scitching to some that white lighting next time.:grinyes:
But I would consider cutting down on changing brands on the source of the problem.
Good luck

Bananas + Milk. You could even make a smoothie if you're feeling particularly Martha that day.

i'm guessing you meant bread? :dunno: it helps in absorbing an extra alcohol you may have in your system.

other things that help with hangovers are Gatorade, a BUTT LOAD of water. if you stomach feels upset try some Ginger Ale. it works the best for me. but like anything else you will have to sort of try different things to really find out what helps YOU the best. what may help me may only make your situation worse.

edit: i dunno what you are drinking or whatever, but usually as a rule of thumb, if you are drinking a lesser brand of alcohol, i.e. Keystone Light vs. Miller Light or Importers Vodka vs. Smirnoff Vodka, your hangover is going to be more severe. usually the cheaper the booze the worse the hangover. i usually try and go with the premium or top shelf stuff. it's more expensive but i don't suffer as much in the morning.

chaser works, but thats before u drink, so u gotta preplan. i drink alot of iced tea. i make it weak so its not too sugary, then u could drink alot of it. the problem is being dehydrated, so fluids are key. asprin before bed is a winner too.

didn't we already have a thread about this in CoT like a week ago?

it was covered: a Good Breakfast. i suggest following toksin's EPIC breakfast recipe. But really, anything with egg, wheat, and some meat will do. and drink some milk or tea or coffee with cream. stay away from orange juice and other acidic drinks. also, weed helps.

Oh, and drinking a full glass of water with two advil before you go to sleep always work for me. If I was too drunk to even do that or I don't stay at home, I gulp large amounts of water or preferably gatorade and make sure I force myself to eat

covered like a week ago but yeah gatorade is key the next day. I find that 1 32 ounce lemon lime will cure just about all but the worst of my hangovers.

Also someone mentioned sex, not sure if you meant the day after during the hangover or the night before while still drunk before the hangover. I think the during drunk before sleep one is a great idea because i've always found that if you wait like an hour or two to go to bed after drinking and sober up a little the hangovers are minimal in the morning. Therefore drunken after bar sex is great hangover prevention. Of course the hangover prevention is probably the last thing on ones mind at that point...

well, you need to adress the problems that cause a hangover. that would be dehydration, and sometimes hunger. So, drink some kind of sports drink (gatorade, powerade, I like eload because it doesn't have any artificial flavours or colors and it's got a much higher electrolyte count which is one thing you REALLY need when you're dehydrated, I think it might only be available in Canada though) and eat something. Eggs are good, so is anything with carbon(i.e. burnt toast, or at east dark toast). carbon helps suck up any leftover alcohol in your stomach and any impurities left in there from the night before (or the morning if you're me on grad trip). The impurities in alcohol are another thing that cause a hangover, if you drink purer alcohol (like clear vodka virsus a dark rum or some other kind of cark drink) you will have less of a hangover. as was said before, cheaper brands have more impurities than more expensive brands. you could also try drinking at least one glass of water with every drink you have. this should help keep you hydrated while you drink.

check out http://www.howstuffworks.com and search hangover, they've got alot of cool info on hangovers and how to treat them.

Two Words:

Powerade Isotonic.

Friend of mine told me about its super-hydration effects, so I tried it about a month ago while I was sick, hung over, and just generally feeling like shit.

Within 15 minutes I was fine, just hungry!
