Resetting Factory Indicator Lights For Maintence

Is there any way I can reset my indash factory warning lights for the maintence. For example I am almost to 45K on my 1998 528I BMW, and the maintence lights have 1 yellow bar left and one red bar left. Is there any way I can reset lights back to a full green? And if so how do you do it. Thanks

the indicator lights can be reset with a electrical tool that plugs into a service receptical under the hood of the car. There are various types available...some include fault code diagnostics as well. BMP Design (ph 1 800 254 4143) sells a basic model for $58. Note that the year of the car determines the type tool needed. Some tools include adaptors that allow them to work on most all models.
