I don't believe you can play DVD movies on the nav. From what I've been told the DVD format is for GPS maps that are on DVD. This is why I didn't opt for the nav.

There is a source you can contact to have your factory installed navigation screen converted to display any multi-media source, such as TV, DVD, PC, Video Games, Rear View Camera, Satellite TV and ETC.
