New Boss Mustang Coming

"Having reportedly commenced last year, the current Boss project is nearing completion and is rumoured to be on schedule for an ‘07 launch."

Looks like it will be based on the already awesome Shelby GT500, but stripped down to the bare racing essentials.

Hell yes I hope they put the 5.0 cammer in it and make another BOSS 302.

I can't wait, 390 HP out of a NA 5.0 or 5.4 motor!

Just read that same report today on MSN/Sympatico. Man Ford is so fucking smart with what they've done to the Mustang, going back to the Bullet Mustang of a few years ago, then the Mach1... they can't do wrong and most important they're not resting on their laurels; they're constantly developing new ideas.

Above all they are freakin COOL ideas. Think about how many different Mustang models they will have made in the past 8 or so years? That will be quite a following for the future.

Big deal if GM brings back the Camaro. It will be nice but if they plan to run that concept for a whole decade the car will be dead before they can even give it a minor face-lift after the first 5 years...

I'd take this over the Cobra any day...the best news, though, is obviously the new 5.0 that'll come with it...won't get my hopes up until there's some worthwhile official news, though

The Cammer is too unreliable to make it in to a production car. Then there is the problem with it meeting emission standards.
