I'm wanting to turn my 4 Door Blazer LT into a Xtreme. I was wondering if this has been done.

Tell Me What you guys think.

I love The xtreme's, but there are a few noticeable differencies between your Blazer and an xtreme.

First you start with the obvious. You own a 4 door 4 wheel drive. An Xtreme was a 2 door with 2 wheel drive. It is also lowered (or could just be a stiffer suspension I dont know I dont own one), has a shaved roof rack (not so hard to do) and I am not so sure on the engine. I dont know if it has any go-fast goodies on it or not. It also had a body kit (very easy to find especially for a 4 door)

Now dont get me wrong I think it can be done and would be kind of original, so by all means go for it if you have the $$$$.

Or just buy a body kit and some Xtreme badges and call it a day:thumbsup:

I know the engine is the same cause my nieghbor has the an s10 xtreme. Suspension i'm going with eibach cause i know people their and the bump i can get from my neighbor who owns a bumper shop. I need to find the side skirts or maybe try to extend the 2 door model. i dunno its gonna be a bit of work but i'm definatly doing it.

Wings west body kit will accomplish it.

You can't run 2x4 Xtreme wheels seeing they are a different offset.

Btw it being a 4x4 not alot of people know and i never ever use it. i've seen some pretty sweet lowered blazers and they were 4x4's

That link says for a 2 door but you might want to see for a 4 door. They also have a wode selection of side skirts and all that stuff for your 4 door.

Just remember, dropping a 4x4 will have you replacing balljoints quite often.

Really depends on on where and how you drive it.

But expect 1/4 to 1/2 of their normal lifespan.
