04 ram reliability

Looking in to getting a new truck and there is an 04 ram with 14,000 miles on it for what seems to be a good price. It has the hemi engine and is a 4x4. My buddies dad has one and he has had a few little bugs but I wanted to hear from other owners. Also what kind of gas mileage can I expect? I just dont want any worse than I get now.

I average about 13-14 in my reg cab. Not sure if the one your looking at is ext or reg. I havent had any problems with mine since i bought it last fall.
