The fujimi Gallardo. This was mostly an experiment to find a substitute for those expensive tamiya spraycans. I used tamiya acrylics, but couldn't find a way to make there paint glossy, so in a weak moment a sprayed 1 VERRY heavy coat of revell enamel clear over it and this is the result! Because the coat was so heavy there was a lot of dust in the paint and some runners. And the clear was already a little yellow. I polished it out with micromesh pads, tamiya compound (finish) and tamiya wax.
The colour in the first picture is closest to the real colour. The 4 others are to "greeny" i guess because of the flash.
I hade some some problems with fitting the body on the chassis and with the side windows... even with 2compound glue they didn't stayed in place. Overall I'm pleased with it.. any critics welcome!

Hey, looks good to me! I love that color, it's almost like the anniversary murcielago. How long did you let the enamel clear dry before you started polishing?

Looks good to me also. Very nice looking car. Did you polish the glass also? It looks very clear and clean.

I waited 3-4 weeks before I started polishing. But it was verry hot here (about 30-35° Celsius) and you have to remember that every 10° the temperature rises, halfs the drying time, But I think I'll keep using enemals in the future...I'm a slow builder anyway..

The colour is a mix of Tamiya acrylic X-4, silver and black. Leftovers I hade in my stash ;-)

Yes I've polished the glass with micromesh n°12000 and tamiya compound finish. and waxed it of course...

Very nice! I like that you went with a color you usually dont see on the car.

I like it a lot! Looks good in 1/24 and plastic as I'm used to this model as 1/18 diecast.
I think the paint has come out well, hopefully it's finished shrinking!
Well done, and a good brave choice with the colour!
