The best car in GT1 is Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec with 968 horses(I have the Japanese version) and in GT2, Suzuki... ah whats the name of that car? the rally one that costs $2 mil? well, whatever that the best car.

You mean the Escudo.
It's one of the fastest cars in the games. IMO, the best on the Trial Mountain.

Escudo...
One sentence explains the cars raw power
"734.5 kw / 985 bhp @ 8100 rpm"
Thats it pretty cool for a Twin turbo 6 cylinder!!! And thats all I got to say about that!
----------
"SUBARU" is a Japanese word meaning "unite," as well as a term identifying a cluster of six stars which the Greeks called the Pleiades -- part of the Taurus constellation. According to Greek mythology, Atlas' daughters turned into this group of stars.

I was dissapointed that you couldn't tune the NSX as much but I like the fact that you can at least control it good in GT2.

The Escudo has an mid-mounted and rear-mounted engine, no? Both V-6 turbocharged and supercharged? It's too bad the Escudo is so damn ugly. Hopefully the next GT will have the Suzuki Aerio Pike's Peak Special.

I can't understand why everyone bashes the Escudo. Just don't use it if it bothers you that much. It was designed for the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb in GT2, and it works well there. The computer never uses it in any other race, so there's no need to feel out-numbered by horsepower. I have to admit I don't see any point of it in GT3 without the PPIHC, but that's okay because no one seems to use it. Should everyone hate the Formula GT cars because they are so powerful as well? They work well in the Formula GT Championship, and should be used just there.

Just about the only even match-up we can figure out with it is him in the Escudo and me in the Speed 12 for 5 laps at the super speedway. (It takes 3 laps just to catch up!!! :angryfire)

HAHA! Dumb friends with stupid fast cars can only make you better... That Speed 12 is such a nice beast, I can't wait until I finally win it in GT3, since it's available in those awesome funktified psychadelic chameleon colors.

WAIT a second here, I need to correct myself. The Escudo IS useful in GT3--for breaking the sound barrier. Literally. At sea level, mach 1, the speed of sound is about 761.5 mph. I reached 1103.7 mph, or about mach 1.44 in the Max Speed test before hitting the bank wall and spinning out. Of course, this was done using the wheelie trick, but it's still amazing nonetheless.
Damn that thing just flies by during the replay, but the best part about exponentially hitting 4-digit speeds is the high pitched screaming whine of the transmission, which REALLY sounds similar to turbojets.

Now what gear ratios did you use?
I got the car to take off, but it didnt exceed more than about 450kph.
It flew, but stoped acclerating much when it got airborn?

450 kph is about 280 mph, right?
I used the auto gear setting for maximum 'wide', and final drive ratio of '2.000'. This plus super-soft tires all around, minimum spring rate, minimum height, no TCS, no ASM, minimum front spoiler, maximum rear spoiler, highest stage turbo upgrade, and fresh oil. The trick is on the final bend before entering the straightaway again, keep a steady moderate speed, and then charge out of the curve, aiming for the inner wall. For a moment you approach the inside, then move outside again to ride the wall--hopefully you will only gently rub the wall and immediately begin to wheel-stand, instead of having to build up speed and waste precious straightaway space. I can barely pass 1000 mph once every 10 tries, but can easily get repeated 800 and 900s. Very fun watching the competition fly by in the "Like the Wind" race.

You guys are so freaked out! This is fun talking about GT3 A-Spec. I mean it's great finding new tips and hints for each other. Plus it's good to show a little dignity. :smokin:
