sony xav-7w indash monitor

i was thinking of purchasing a sony xav-7w indash monitor. i read that the video only comes on when the car is parked, is there a way to bybass this safety feature?? also does anyone have this model or know someone that does, i need opinions on it. i've been searching for reviews but cant find any. are there any other brands that you would recommend?? thanks.

Yes it's easy cheesy to by pass. I've installed different kinds of video systems in cars and lemme explain how it works first. YOu know how the "BRAKE" light comes on when you pull your e-brake up? well according to the instructions and the wiring diagram, they want you to tap that signal wire into your ebrake. that's how it knows if the car is off or on. Who would drive w/ it on?! :devil: Anyway just tap that wire to your accesories that come on when the car is started or go to a constant, it's your choice. But that's how you do it.
