I recently decided to try my hand at airbrushing for painting models - RR and 1/25 cars. I had quite a time finding an affordable (less than $200) spray paint booth. Yes, I could have built one, but by the time I purchased materials and calculated my time, I was still in the $150-$200 range.
Then came Harbor Freight Tools - www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=44040 - and a small booth for $75 which included shipping to Kansas! And, if they have a store in your area the price is around $60.
It's simple to assemble and works great. Check it out if you're looking. They also have very reasonably priced compressors with tanks - as do Walmart and Target.
PS If you're in the market for an airbrush, try Dixie Art Supplies - www.dixieart.com. They had the lowest prices I was able to find and no shipping charges on orders over $45.
