:screwy: Just relaced the ignition module and also the crankshaft sensor and that fixed the TCS light problem and the engine shutting down but I still have the spitting and sputtering during light to moderate acceleration. The car has 120,000 miles and up to now has been almost trouble free. Next I plan on changing out the plugs and wires and the fuel filter. How difficult is it to remove the back three plugs? What type of plugs and wires should I buy?
Any comments and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you are stock:
Plugs = AC Delco 41-101 Iridium. Gap .060
Wires = AC Delco Premium Silicone 7mm
Try the plugs, wires and fuel filter first. If that doesn't work check into a possible flaky MAF sensor.
Rear plugs are tedious but can be replaced with the right spark plug tools. No need to loosen dogbone mounts and shift engine.

Ignition wires are really a matter of personal preference and any advantage over another is really hard to say. The 7mm AC Delcos are great wires but boring. The next wire of choice is the Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm wires. Reasonable cost and selection on colors.
Now, I use MSD 8.5mm on my GTP. Not that they are any better than the other wires. I have not documented any performance gain. But the 8.5mm MSD do have the least resistance per foot of any of the wires. I have the red and they match the red MSD Blaster coils. Looks nice when you pop the hood.
