alright so im doing my GM and find that some parts need to be replaced one of which is the sparkplugs....now my question is the bosch platinum, platinum 2,or platinum +4s any better than other sparkplugs like auto light or champion...and do more prongs make a differance?

GM = General Maintenance?
I'd go with Champion. After reading a lot of threads here, they generally give the best consistency and performance. There have been several threads where other plugs caused problems.
Having more prongs doesn't necessarily mean it's a better plug. There's a certain amount of voltage going through, and if you disperse that voltage through 2 or more prongs you're maybe making a larger spark area of less intense spark rather than a single area of more intense spark.
I've never had a problem with plain ole one prong Champions.

I would use Champion truck plugs. My brother use to work at the Jeep dealer and he said the same thing. I used Bosch Plats one time and they went bad shortly after.
