PLEASE HELP
I have a 1993 Honda Prelude S with the 2.2 liter non-vtec(I know it sucks) but it is still an enjoyable car. Just recently my girlfriend drove the car and left the keys in the ignition for like 2 hours because she couldnt get them out. Now the car wont start except at random times. The starter is knew and is turning over. The ignition wires are new the fuel lines are cleaned and providing fuel to the engine because it smells like gas when I crank it over or try to anyway. The battery is fully charged and the ignition switch is on its way from the warehouse. WHAT IS WRONG!!! I dont want to take it to the dealer because I do all my own work, but for some reason it will sometimes start and then sputter up to 1K RPM and then die. It all started when I was driving up a hill and all of a sudden I was hitting the gas and it wouldn't help the RPM's and the car died going up hill. Since then it wont start.

have you checked your spark plugs and the gaps?

Hopefully you already have this problem fixed, but if you don't. Check fuel pressure. If fuel pressure is normal, check to see if you are getting fire to the spark plugs with some sort of spark checker. This could be something as simple as a fuel filter. Hope this helps,
