Headlights on 94 Laredo

Lost a headlight (bulb out) and got through fighting the lock-ring to get the bulbs change, but noticed one thing. The only set that was available at the parts store I was at was a pair of 45w/65w bulbs. When pulling out the old set, I noticed that they were 45w/55w. Is this going to cause a problem with the auto setting on the Jeep? I'd rather not fry the module. . . . so should I replace the lamps with the same as came out or does that make a difference? I don't drive with the high beams normally for an extended period of time, but don't know really what may happen so any help would be appreciated. . . :)

Same bulb part number? No problem. The wattages listed on the bulbs aren't always exact. And even if they are 10 watts higher, that should be well within the tolerance of the electrical system.

Just make sure they are the exact same model number that specific jeep calls for. If you use a slightly different one you will have very freaky things occur like alternating high beams and high beam indicator constantly on.
