:banghead: so im driving down the highway doing about 80 then all of a sudden i heart a pop/thump noise and i start losing speed. im pushing down on the gas and i get nothing. so i drift over to the shoulder and turn the car off. then i turn it back and try to shift into drive. still nothing. the car moves under its own weight in Neutral, Drive and Reverse but nothing when i hit the gas. its a 95 2.2L automatic transmission. any thoughts would help :uhoh:

yeah, i was thinking something along those lines, like maybe the shift cable became disconnected and it got thrown into neutral

check your cables in the car (under the carpet) also there is a sensor on top of your tranny (under the mastercylinder) that is were the cable goes to make sure that the sensor is plugged in and that the cable is there, then have a buddy move the stock as you watch the sensor and make sure the center piece moves. Sounds wired but you will now it when you see it

the connector is in the front of the tranny when u pop the hood and look straight down on the right. and the fluid is bubbly is that bad?
