Removing rear brake drum dust cap

OK, I'm from the old school when you used to be able to remove dust caps with a pair of water pump pliers. What's the trick in removing the 2001 Focus rear brake drum dust covers so that I can take the drum off to check my brakes?

On some Fords the drum is held on by two large phillips screws. Does yours have two screws?

I know what you mean but no there are no screws holding the drum on.

Last time I had to do it I just used a flat head screwdriver...
