ACURA {3.0 CL}....."TIMING BELT" Question

I finally got the crankshaft pully bolt off (1" Drive Impact) "NO SWEAT" and now I'm following along with the Chilton book. It's time to remove the timing belt.
HOW!
The way it looks to me is that someone who wrote this book forgot a step. It seems impossible to get the belt off due to the presense of the water pump! Or am I not doing something correctly?
The book never mentions the water pump in the step by step instructions.
Anybody out there that can help?
ALSO: The auto tensioner, I see how to close it up with a screwdriver, but what is a good way to hold it besides having that special tool?
Thanks a million for all your help

All I can say is that "I'm Glad I wasn't Hanging From a Noose" while waiting for some of this "PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL ADVISE"!
I never done one of these belts before but I sure learned a lot "ON MY OWN"
I now know how to:
Get the Crankshaft pulley bolt off with ........NO SWEAT!
Get the belt lined up the first time everytime!
Get the belt on WITHOUT messing with that goofy automatic tensioner!
This site offered me absolutely NO HELP AT ALL at a time when I needed it.
I'd like to thank the Chilton Manual (Although it needs to be written a little clearer that it is).
Now that I am completed with my job, I'll check back here periodically and see if I can perhaps help someone who may be walking in the same shoes I was in this past week.
I'm here to help!!!........ NOT JUST TALK!

Perhaps "you" should ask for a refund from "the" professionals that you paid for advice? "Last time I checked," this was a free online forum where any schmuck with an Acura could post "questions, replies, or just about anything" else related to cars. The "vast majority" of people who post here "don't know a whole lot about" cars and are here to shoot "the breeze online."
Congratulations on figuring out how to change your timing belt. Sorry to hear that you had to overcome this terrible adversity on your own; I know that it can be scary for some. Now you're more experienced than 95% of the people that you were asking for help from, so if nothing else, at least you can take pride in that!
