I have a 97 SSE and the courtesy lights willl not shut off, I do not have any "door ajar" indicators on and it seems like the head light swich/ dimmer works properly. I had to pull the fuse...any ideas ?

I am having the same problem. Others on the message board say the problem can be the headlight switch is worn out. When you turn the switch counterclockwise to turn on the interior lights, it pushes down on a copper conductor that is attached to an insulator in the switch
The conductor may be loose where it attaches to the insulator and stayed down all the time, making the interior lights stay on. A new switch is really expensive for the twighlight sentinel so try a real small metal shim in between the conductor and the insulator to tighten or buy a new switch which is what I am going to do.
