Help can't shift 91 mr2

Hello all,
I have a 1991 N/A MR2. Last night it happened. The car is now stuck in 3rd gear. The shifter moves front and back but won't shift. I removed the console cover and everything is still intacked. Any ideas? Is it internal on the tranny?

ok i'm dumb. Just did a search and found someone with the same prob. I'm going to jack the car up and see if it is still connected
