okay, I just bought an '05 ZX3 SE with 16K miles and I have a few questions to ask.

1) are these cars for the most part pretty reliable as in engine and drivetrain goes? if not, then what are some of the most common problems that these cars face?

2) what kind of gas mileage do these little suckers get? I checked Ford's site and they are saying somewhere in the 26 to 27 MPG range. would this be about right for an automatic transmission car?

3) I'm thinking about putting some 17" wheels on the car with some pretty decent tires because my car has the God awfull stock wheel covers which have always been a no no in any of my past (or present) cars. will 17" wheels cause any problems for me as in tire/fender rubbing? also, will the 17" wheels cause my speedo to go off wack?

4) what kind of exhaust system can I get (any links please?) for the car w/o having the typical but very nappy ricer sound that most 4 cylinder cars have? I wont mind the exhaust being louder, but I refuse to have my car sounding like a million honey bees flying south for the winter.

any help, tips or suggestions will be mostly appreciated.

i have an 05 zx4, these cars aren't that reliable, the first 6 months i had mine it was in the shop more than i could drive it. this year model i when they went from one computer each part have it's own computer chip, i've already replace the one for my keyless entry in my drivers door, my alternator, my complete instrument panel, because ur silenoid is behind ur instrument panel, it was replaced cause my battery light wouldn't go out, cause the computer chip for that burnt up and messed up my silenoid and messed up my alternator. as for gas milage, depending on how many days i work, i drive about 30 miles a day, i get about 380 miles to the tank full.
