:frown:I have a 2002 SXT Durango. When you turn on headlights, drive and then shut them off, they will not automatical turn off, at the same time the electric locks quit working. The only way to get them working is to disconnect the battery. Reconnect and everthing works again. It doesn't happen all the time. Any suggestions?

What are the reasons that the door lock on a Honda CRV97 stop working from the remote and the door?

Hope your still here to see this!
Have the exact problem, exact vehicle. When your door locks stop and headlights quit, check the headlights close, they are probably very dim at all times and won't shut off. The 4x4 probably is out too or soon will be, along with the wiper delay.
Your PCM may be bad. That was my problem. The PCM controls the door locks because the doors on this will not lock when key is in ignition and door is open. Headlights are run through this for the delay feature.
On mine the PCM failed causing your exact problem. Also have a 2003 durango same problem, same fix.
Dealers have a hard time finding the problem because they rely too much on reading codes and not troubleshooting the problem. When you disconnect the battery cable you re-set the code, clearing the problem for a short time.
It must be a common problem, my new PCM has been on backorder for 4 weeks!
