The Air Conditioning System

I discovered metal shavings in my system. I will be changing out my condenser, compressor, and accumulator dryer. Would I need to change out the evaporator also so or just have the system flushed and evacuated then change the parts. And last of all Have the new system charged???

hopefully, if these cars have an oriface tube, it caught the metal shavings.

I would do a very thorough flush of evaporator and see what comes out of it. flush it into a clean can to look at what might be in there. if you see flakes, flushit a hundred times to see if you can clean it out (heck, its better than changing it right?)
