how can i find engine fault codes on my 1998 dodge caravan 3.3 lt engine with egnition key

You can get basic codes by turning the key on and off three times, on the third time leave the key on and the CEL should flash. Count the number of flashes and that will get you the codes. Your van is an OBDII computer equipped vehicle. Take it to Autozone or other autoparts stores and if the light is on they will scan it for free. This is much better than relying on the light flash codes since it gives you far more information.
