since i am a newbie at car performance... is there anyway i can make the jetta v6 into 24 valve engine or make the valves bigger or am i mistaken in thinking it's only a 12 valve engine.. please please help me out here i'm really confused.... and did you hear bout the new w7's jlaudio is coming out with.. their glass shattering SUBS.....

I'm kinda an old skool Dubber. not air cooled but old skool. I don't think you can make a 12 into a 24. Why you would want to do that I don't know. But you could always port out the valves. That would make it a little better but it's possible to screw up the compression. Don't quote me on the 12 to 24 thing though I'm old skool so I'm not familiar. Does anyone have a used wing for an A2 jetta. I need one. Thanks!:bandit:

You cant. The engine simply isnt designed for it... youd need a new engine... you see, the DOHC has one over head valve set for intake, and one for exhaust... the SOHC simply has one set for both...
