Header Gaskets

I couldn't decide which sub-forum this went into, so I just put it here, sorry if its in the wrong place.
Secondly, I know this was mentioned before, but I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for, so here it is.
What type of gaskets should I use for Pacesetter LT's? Someone said the paper ones that come with them are junk and I wanted to know which ones I should use and where can I get them?
And what about the hardware? One guy said the hardware supplied was fine (not on here), but should I get ARP stuff instead?
Someone please point me in the right direction.

any type of metal gasket is good, arp is good, but you can use any thing aslong as you check on them to make shure they stay tight.

Get some metal one's. Copper or the stock one's that are stainless steel I believe. Any of those are fine but the paper one's burn out and leave you with a pretty bad exhaust leak and tapping noises. Which messes up your bad pressure (not to mention ticks off your knock sensor) and will lead to a lose in performance.

Also, check the bolts frequently (at oil changes for example) to make sure they don't start walking out on you.

Thanks for the advise guys.
I have decided to give the install a shot, even though in past threads I bitched about how challenging it would be and how much it would cost to have a shop do it.
My dad just got an air ratchet, so I can access those tight places and hopefully save my hands.

I went with percys dead soft aluminum gaskets and ive actually taken them off and put them back on about 3 times now... still not a leak.... I put anti-seize on all of my header bolts and only had to tighten them once... never came loose.... the stock bolts are fine but if you want it too look really nice you might want to look into the stainless bolts, I just bought some. The new set of pacesetters I got came with copper gaskets but the first set i bought came with paper... i dont know if it's because the 2nd set was coated or what... but yeah... if you need some info on the header install let me know... I'm a pro at it now...

Good to know. I plan on using the board a lot during the install. My friend who put LT's on his '06 GT said he would help me. But I first need to get a ball joint replaced on the maro, then its onto this project. I hope to start things in a few weeks.
