96' Grand Voyager Help

I am having problems with my 1996 Grand Voyager. It won't shift into 2nd gear. We have dropped the transmission pan, and it looked ok, we change the filter and put the pan back on. We refilled it and try it, still wouldn't shift. We think it might be a senso somewhere. The manual said something about a heat sensor, and that it might stick if it gets too hot. Does anyone know what is going on?

Sorry, I can't help. I could blab a suggestion but, I don't know much about them and you've already done what I would have done. Try reposting your problem and label it " Any transmission gurus out there" or something that will get attention. Include the type engine and tranny. I know there are a few guys that know a good bit about trannys on this forum. Maybe they went on vacation. Have you searched the forum for posts about tranny problems? Don't give up.

What engine and transmission do you have?
There are two totally different auto transmissions for the Voyager, if you don't tell us what you have, we have no starting point.
