yes, you will need a different ecu, about the actual conversion, as far as "bolting up" goes, i dont know...

did you beat the shit out of the tranny by manually shifting through gears all the time??:grinyes:

probably doing burnouts or turning hard at high speed and accidentally hitting it into neutral or reverse..

probably doing burnouts or turning hard at high speed and accidentally hitting it into neutral or reverse..those are possible but im leaning more towards the shifting through all the gears all the time lol most people that blow there tranny then want to convert it to manual are the people that shift there auto like a stick.

I'm pretty sure on all autos, you can't shift into Reverse unless you push the button down, thus eliminating the possibilty of accidentally hitting it into reverse and would reving high in neutral effect the tranny? I figure it would hurt the motor more, not the tranny.

yeah i've been down that road. back when i had my civic. beat the pure shit out it.:disappoin really regret it but o well. took the thing off-roading lol i know :nono: every single inch of it was covered in mud. reverse drops all the time. pulling the e-brake doing like 65mph and doing 360s. that was my ''beat the piss out of car, and get it all out of my system'' i have never done anything like that again with any of my others cars.

I'm paranoid enough as it is just driving my car, every little vibration or rattle I start to freak out like something is wrong with it. Even going around corners too fast or hitting big bumps. So doing anything like that is out of the question for me. I'm just sick of having to repair stuff even tho i KNOW it comes with the territory. It's like driving a damn ford, Fix Or Repair Daily
