Say you wake up in the morning which all of us hope we do.:grinyes:

Your Jeep is buried in snow from a 8" snowfall and the plow has gone by and plowed your
rear Jeep bumper in real deep.
getting into vehicle you get her fired up and look down and see you came home from work yesterday in 2 wheel drive.
my question is : Can you just put your vehicle in 4 Hi (without moveing) and then back out of your driveway? Will 4Hi engage ok this way?

Talking command-trac. Shift on the fly up to 55 mph..

Yup, should work fine into 4hi. You may not be able to get into 4lo until moving however.

Just another question: When going through a car wash 2 wd you have to
just put transmission in neutral. Now with a jeep , you put trans in neutral and transfer case in neutral also ??? Is this correct.

Thanks for replying .

TC in neutral, according to the owner's handbook, is for towing the vehicle. I don't think that leaving the TC in gear for the 50' of a car wash will do any harm.
