need a combo for 500hp 30over 351w

hello,i'm looking for a combonation that will give me 500hp or more out of a 30 over 351windsor.my first plan was to build a 393 or a 408 stroker,but my money has got a little short.so i'm looking for a 351 combo.streetable know more than 10.5.1 compression will run a soild roller cam if i have to.its want be a every day driver.

I'm almost willing to bet if you ran an IP check and referneced it to another poster in this forum it would match... just a hunch. Could be legit though....
500 daily driven hp is very hard to do on any size motor, expecially naturually aspirated. Sure you read about it in magazines, but in reality most of those cars are dyno or trailer queens.

When you start talking hp numbers that are around the 100hp per Litre mark there are only really two ways keeping the engine streetable.
Variable Valve time and or Lift combined with sophisticated head design, porting and inlet/exhaust manifolds.
Easy to get on a Honda or BMW, but would cost huge amounts of money to build into a 351 Windsor, so its not really an option. Unless you know a good head man, and are prepared to custom build lots of heads and try them out.

Its compartivly cheap, easy, and its proven to work and get you into the 100hp per Litre range with well known, simple technology.
The question is to you use a pair of smaller ones, or a big single?

I like both ideas, either one will give 500 streetable hp and the bottom end will just barely take it.
Nitrous or turbo, lots of the ford boys are using the belt driven blowers also.

well, many people are saying that a single turbocahrger is more efficient and will get you more power. in this case, i'm guessing that he doesn't have much experience with turbochargers and such so i'd suggest 2 smaller ones to save you from the plumping nightmare.
as for a belt driven supercharger, i don't know how easy it would be to get this engine to 500 on a supercharger. how much horsepower does it have at the moment? it would be easier to install but won't give you the best in terms of gas mileage (which i'm sure you don't really care about with this engine) and power.
nitrous is also another great idea. the thing i don't like about this is that you have to refill the bottle but if you do it properly it'll be just as reliable as a turbocharger or supercharger. you just need to be sure that you set it up properly and add the correct ammount of fuel or it can mess up your engine alot, the same goes for other forms of forced induction.
it'll be alot easier to reach your goals if you do the other little modifications like a better intake manifold, better exhaust system, better carb (or go fuel injection, it's easier to set up an engine for a turbocharger with FI than with a carb), better ignition, etc.

Ya know, a year ago I would have agreed, but you might be surprised. With a 351 it won't be cheap, but its quite possible. With today's head designs, cam profiles, and other goodies I think it would be pretty easy.
Here's what I'd do. Determine your peak flow requirements and select either one of the AFR heads or the brilliant Twisted Wedge heads in the 180-190 cc intake sizes. Edelbrock has an incredible RPM intake for it that should support it. For a cam, look to something in the 245 @ 50 degrees of duration on the intake with a narrow-ish LSA like 110-112. You'll need headers in the 1-7/8" area and dual 3" or at least 2.5" exhausts. If you feel the instinct to (wisely) add some sort of exhaust crossover, go with the X over the H.
As far as the engine is concerned, make sure you build it to spin safely and reliably. This won't be an engine that lasts forever, but you should be able to get 50k out of it without too much incident. Drive it like hell and let us know.
