I just got off IMing with my friend and the main topic was sex. We said we would try to be virgins until marriage. She has failed miserably! Now I'm going to go on and wait till marriage, but how many of the AFer's haven't done it, is waiting, going to anyhow, has, etc.? Just a thought....

Also, does it bother you if a date/whatever ask if you are or aren't?

I didn’t wait for marriage. I was in a long-term relationship at the time (it lasted 4 years) and neither of us wanted to wait any longer (we had been together for 6 months). I think if you love someone there’s nothing wrong with not waiting for marriage. Who knows, it could be the person you end up marrying anyway.

Also, to answer your other question, no it wouldn’t bother me at all. As Moppie said, I like to know my partners history and I’m sure it’s the same for them too or they wouldn’t be asking.

Quite the opposite.
I want to know my partners sexual history (or at least a summury) before I sleep with them. Then you can be more prepared for what is likely to make it more fun for them, and for your self.

I like to know if they have or haven't, want to or don't.(If they haven't it might actually make me look good:D)

but it won't change my opinion or feelings. These days sex doesn't matter so much.

I'm with spec on this one. Doesn't matter as long as it's a committed relationship.

I wouldn't mind if someone asked, I don't really care, and if it matters that much to them, they're better off knowing.

I didn't wait, and I mostly don't regret it... But there are those days when...

I used to take offense when people asked me what my sexual history was, but that was before I had any. I always felt like they knew and wanted to make fun of me for it. Now, my friends and I are open with that general topic and it doesn't bother me so much.

If anyone were to ask me my history,it would be a very short story indeed.Boring old fart that I am,I married my first love,and the means,motive and opportunity to stray have never occurred simoultaneously since.

Didn't bother waiting. I never really asked them, but sometimes they come out and tell me.:D

My parents rented to a lady who had 4 kids at 19. The oldest was 5 years old. There's nothing wrong with being a 16 yr old virgin, or even a 25 yr old virgin. What's sad is the 37 yr old that I work with.

maybe some of the younger members could answer this,but hell,it's impressive!Remember -you only get one crack at your first time(no pun intended)and if you have decided to wait for the right person,it's a strength,not a failure.

stick to the plan ,buddy,as with cars,the fewer owners you've had,the better the resale.

Iwas 23 before I bothered with it......I just didn't see it as a big deal at the time,drag racing was much more fun than hanging around with women.;)

Because he looks 60 and does want to have a girlfriend but things aren't working out. He is one of those people who's so nice it's annoying. So it's not sad-pitiful, it really is sad. I do feel bad for him 'cause he is a nice guy.

Im 20, I havent done it, nor have I been in any relationships, short-term or long-term.

I dont date because it is diffucult to find a date when your face looks like a tossed salad that has sat out in the sun for a few days. My lack of wit and humor dont help either.

Does it bother me? Not really. Personally I believe there is someone out there for everyone. I am not searching for that person. Sure at times, I feel dissapointed, and/or lonely. I have goals set out and I am following them. If my path crosses with someone elses down the road somewhere, then all the better.

Hell I'm 53, what did you expect? Sex should be the ultimate expression of love for an individual. I was married once, sex was not our problem, but everything else was, therefore love doesn't make the world go round!
