ok this is my first post on here, i am mechanicly inclined but not so much on newer cars. i have a 92 town car w/ 4.6L and have water draining into oil. (drain oil, leave plug out, fill radiator, water starts dripping out of oil drain in like 10 min) checked comp all is good, changed intake gasket, this is where i realized that i need to ask questions, got it all back together, and runs :grinyes: yay for me, but i still have no clue where to look next. so i thought that i would ask before i just started replacing things that were not bad like the intake gasket. any help would be appriciated. Thank You

Matt

A head gasket can 'blow' without affecting compression. It can allow coolant to leak into the crankcase, but still seal the cylinders properly.

IMO it's either a blown headgasket (there is no way to tell which one) or a head or block or intake manifold is cracked.

If you remove the heads, send them out to a machine shop to be checked fro straightness and cracks.
