I read it SCC mag. I believe it might have been in the last thread posted about this too!

They are retiring the 4g63, and after what, 16-17 years you can't blame them. That's a long run for a motor these days, and is a testament to just how well it does work.

I'm glad I got an EVO when I did. EVO9s mivec would make it impossible to run DSMlink, so the EVO8 is more what I need. Basically a DSM on steroids. Who knows what the 10 is going to be like for moddability.

I was asking my shop I use about the new evo engine. The new engine is essentially the same as before with a different head. The block is pretty much a 4g63 block it just has the mivech head on it.
