Hi mates!
Well as the title says... i will try to do a boxes but not the typical one rider.. this will be a BIG box.. with the two riders of one team (so 4 bikes). I have to say that 4 mechanics of the '90 will come ( i will have a lot of work with those because i need 14 mechanics and a few people )
I have a lot of ideas on my head, but i don't know yet what team i will do...
Also another problem that i have is that i'm looking for a pictures but i found only 3 of Laguna seca 05 with no clear views..
I started this thread specially for if someone have reference pictures / and ideas, all the ideas will be welcome.
I will start the project maybe at the finals of August because i have a lot of work yet with the Aprilia (some time i thought to leave the project..)
Do you want to see my ideas?
Basically a few mechanics will be preparing a bike (oil, fuel, brakes, tyres..)
-A mechanic changing the oil ( try to simulate how the oil rains to the tray with stretched plastic )
-A mechanic cleaning the cowls on the rear part of the box with a hose
-Mechanics "playing" with the PC's and telemetria ( i don't know how is this word in english)
-A lot of tv panels
-Lights on the roof
-Stand for the wheels
-Habitual furniture ( with drawers and a lot of tools)
-The umbrella girls on the doors (it is coming the girl from HLJ the one of the R1 that i will rebuild to make her holding the umbrella )
Well guys this is all if some moderator thinks that this is on the wrong way delete it.
Looking for your ideas and photos ;)

WOOOOOOHOW now i'm sure... i was thinking to do the Valencia's box because the bike is new released (the M1 05) and well.. i has a good sensations when i met the bike in the Barcelona's Exposition so it will be how if i was there in the box. :grinyes:
Thank you very much for the link and well... at the moment the Yamaha 05 Valencia is one of the more strong options to do it.
I Hope to buy soon the wood panels to start the building :iceslolan

How about you put one of the riders on one of the bikes and make two mechanics push it out of the box as it was about to enter the track?

Yep i was thinking on that.. but maybe is better put the typical Rossi's ritual with the two mechanics holding the bike.. it was a real detail.. lol one in the front in the upper cowl and the other in the back with the mechanism of start Meanwhile Rossi's quiet bent on the side of the bike with his hands on the brake lever.. :grinyes:

Hey!!
Now i have all the mechanics (3 at the moment but i will make much more) they are from Tamiya (1/12) i think about the 70's

http://www.rocascalemotorcycles.com/varios/diorama/box3.jpg
I think i will have problems with the space... anyhow i decided to eliminate the Panel with the logo to put it in the other wall. i will try to take again the measurements with 4 bikes and let's see..

Well most of the toos certainly did look from the 70's didn't they... But use some, scratch some and you are there. You could also scratch yourself a lift to raise the bikes on.

Hi Joel, i didn't explain that but the tools are not from the 70's i'm not sure about that . I found them in a diorama that i have buy a few years ago.. (maybe 5 o 6..) in 1/24 scale i didn't remember the mark but as you can see those tools was too big for the 1/24 original mechanics... so how you say with a little bit of scratch i will make more and more different.
Roca.

Hey Roca (or is that Erkel lol)
How do you find the time with this looking good .
Looking at the garage layout with bikes in it looks about the size of just one to fit 4 bike in you may have to double in size?
