Help!!

I have a 96 GC with an I6. The problem is that it will not start. I have tried to put a new battery in and it doesnt work. It will only start if the jeep is jumped by another truck. When ever i turn the key, the eletrical system comes on only some of the time. Sometimes i can take the key out of the ignition and hear a clicking sound from the passenger side that will not stop until i put the key back in. Just yesterday it worked fine, started right up no problem. THen today nothing. Could it be a bad starter or NSS. Any help will be great.

Well the fusebox is on the passenger side, so it could be clicking from electrical signals firing. Or else your ignition needs to be fixed. I dont know, its never happend to me, so this is all just a guess on my part.
